- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪With my various businesses and real estate properties, I have dealt with several insurance agencies over the years. With regret, I must admit that Akers & Arney are strongly lacking with it comes to good customer service. I have been made to feel very unimportant to them... and when it comes to making any kind of claim, they try to talk you out of it... using what seemed to be scare tactics in order to get you to just pay for the damage yourself. I left messages for the co-owners of the company, Edd Akers and David Arney, and neither took the time to even return my phone calls. The poor customer service apparently starts at the top and trickles down. Very disappointed in this company after having been a loyal customer for 8+ years.
